The short answer.
If the project calls for a refined, highly documented minimalist system with a dedicated zero-threshold solution and strong published performance data, Reynaers HiFinity is an excellent benchmark. If the architecture needs very large motorised leaves, hidden frames and the ability to push panel weight further, YAWAL MoreView becomes extremely interesting.
Neither is automatically “better”. On a protected terrace in Calpe, the decision may be driven by sightlines and opening geometry. On an exposed sea-facing façade, water management and threshold detailing can be more important than one extra centimetre of glass.

These figures come from the manufacturers' published data and should be treated as design references, not as a substitute for the exact configuration calculation. System performance changes with dimensions, glass, rail layout, threshold and hardware.
Important: HiFinity's standard configurations can publish higher water-tightness figures than the dedicated Zero Threshold variant. A comparison should therefore use the exact threshold variant intended for the project, not the best number from a different configuration.
For Spain, the threshold is often the real comparison.
A panoramic slider can look perfect in a catalogue and fail architecturally if the floor, drainage and waterproofing are treated as separate trades. Both systems are designed around minimal visual interruption, but the site detail still has to manage Mediterranean rain events, terrace falls and waterproofing.
HiFinity has a dedicated Zero Threshold option with a published minimum threshold height of 0 mm. Reynaers also offers concealed drainage and gutter options within the HiFinity family. MoreView is conceived with frames hidden in the floor, walls and ceiling, and YAWAL describes its terrace-door solution as completely threshold-free.
For an exposed opening, we would start with a section through the slab and terrace before choosing the final system. A deep overhang, protected loggia and linear drain create a very different risk profile from an uncovered opening facing wind-driven rain.
If the glass is enormous, leaf weight starts to decide the system.
HiFinity publishes moving vents up to 4.0 m high, 3.5 m wide and 750 kg. That is already a very large piece of glass. MoreView publishes constructions up to 4.0 m high and, in automated versions, sliding leaves up to 1200 kg. For fixed elements YAWAL also lists up to 1200 kg.
That extra capacity can matter on projects where the architecture insists on very wide, tall panes with heavy laminated or acoustic glass. But a heavier panel is not automatically an advantage. It changes transport, installation, lifting equipment, structural support and servicing. We prefer to keep the glass only as large as the architecture actually needs.
In Spain, glass selection can matter more than the frame U-value.
Both systems can deliver highly insulated panoramic façades, but a sea-view living room in Alicante is not solved by a low Uw value alone. Orientation, solar factor, light transmission, exterior shading and the amount of glass exposed to afternoon sun all affect comfort.
For south and west façades we normally discuss solar-control glass together with ZIP screens, overhangs or architectural shading. The target is not simply “the lowest g-value”. It is the balance between summer comfort, daylight, colour neutrality and the view the client is paying for.
Large laminated glass also influences panel weight quickly. This is where the MoreView weight capacity can open possibilities, while HiFinity's 36–54 mm glazing range gives a broad envelope for high-performance glass build-ups.
Which system would Alba Ventanas choose?
We would lean towards Reynaers HiFinity when the client wants a proven premium minimalist slider, a carefully developed 0 mm threshold, excellent documentation, and the project already uses other Reynaers systems. It is particularly attractive when consistency across windows, doors and façade packages matters.
We would seriously consider YAWAL MoreView when the architecture pushes towards exceptionally large motorised panels, very low visible mullions and a completely hidden-frame expression. The published 27 mm mullion and high automated leaf-weight capacity are meaningful advantages in the right project.
We would not choose either from a brochure alone. The final decision should include opening dimensions, exposure to rain and wind, glass weight, required threshold, automation, service access, structural support and the manufacturer's local fabrication and delivery route.

For most villas we would first compare the exact opening sizes, terrace exposure and desired floor detail. If the project values a mature zero-threshold package and Reynaers ecosystem, HiFinity often leads.
